The B&B was clean, comfortabe and full of wonderful Florentine character...could imagine being in this house in the 14th century, and looking out onto the daily activity of the city. Wonderfully close to the Duomo, Galleria and most of the major features of Florence... little supermarket nearby, laundromat and of course, gelatos!! Recommend highly The Phoenix family - England The hotel is ideal as a base for touring Florence and the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Paolo and his staff were very obliging and went out of their way to be helpful. Being able to leave our luggage at the hotel, both when we arrived in the early morning and then until our train was due to leave, in the evening, when we booked out gave us two extra day’s holiday. We would certainly go there again and would recommend the hotel to anyone going to Florence. Eduardo Girão - Brasil We were in Florence in May 2010 and like many of us stay at Relais Il Campanille. Mr Chris Walford - Great Britan About as convenient as you could imagine, located 200m or so from the Duomo (and with a view of it, as well), although in a relatively quiet side street. Good comfortable room. The reception staff happily booked me an early admission to the Uffizi. Breakfast was simple but adequate and served in the rooms. Highly recommended, unless you're travelling to Florence to stay in all day! Robert W - December 2009 - England Quiet, Cosy, Clean and Central - 'Relais Il Campinale' was booked at almost the last minute and it turned out to be exactly what we needed; an inexpensive room in a central location in Florence. As to its location it was superb; less than 30 seconds to the south and there was 'Il Duomo'. The room it self was cosy and clean and the en-suite. About 100m from the Duomo but still nice and quiet. Great breakfast in bed and a nice clean room. Thoroughly recommended. Jonathan - Calgary This was a great B&B. The room was one of the biggest we had in Europe. The receptionist was great. We were given lots of great pointers upon our arrival in terms of where to go and what restaurants to visit. Location wise it was about a 5 minute walk from the Duomo. Florence is a great city to walk around, and this hotel was in a great location. I'd definitely recommend this B&B! |
